On September 27, 2013, a one-day pilot training in gender mainstreaming was held at the Judicial and Prosecutorial Training Center of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The training was aimed at enhancing the skills of active trainers in gender mainstreaming, to improve the trainings they offer at the Center. The training was focused on the difference between sex and gender, understanding the concept of gender mainstreaming, and the practical application of systematic gender mainstreaming methodology in lectures and training materials.
Active trainers at the Center, i.e. judges and prosecutors from different courts in the Federation of BiH, participated in the training. The director of the Centre, Ismet Trumić, opened the training, which was conducted by Majda Halilović and Maida Ćehajić from the Atlantic Initiative.
